Despite sleeping for 7-8 hours every night, I feel extremely sleepy each morning. How do I change… by Maikon Neitzel
Answer by Maikon Neitzel:
I used to have sleep time similar to you (12am to 7am), so based on my experience I have a tip where you can really improve your life (not only your sleep quality):
Now I sleep 9pm – 5am. I started to work 8am, and leave my 3 years old boy at school at 7:30. It means I have from 5 to 7am 2 hours only for me, for my own purposes in life (knowledge, exercises, reading, etc). This is the best time for me, because it’s quiet, I’m refreshed and well-disposed. It also boosts my mood and joyfulness all-day long.
Before that change in my sleeping habits I was always indisposed, tired, accumulating undone work and even needing crushing time to overcome that work backlog. Now my work is better than ever, with nothing piling up and I’m happier than ever! Waking up earlier also has an important psychological aspect: you are in full control of your life, the world responds for you because you started the day before everyone, before everything seems to be ahead of you because you are late…
There is athat can help you to start with this simple and painless habit that can boost your life in so many more ways than I even mention here.
Wake up earlier (and go to bed accordingly of course)!
